MOPS Ministry Opportunity

Our morning and evening MOPS groups are looking for Mentor Moms!  If you are a spiritual "seasoned" mom willing to offer support, love, and encouragement to the mothers in our group, this would be a wonderful opportunity for you to make a difference in the lives of many young women and their families.  The time commitment is minimal.  If you're interested, please contact Amber Casler at amber.casler@gmail.com or mops@woodlakeumc.org for more information.

Who We Are

Our MOPS group is made up of women of all different walks of life and ages, but of women who share a common desire to become better moms and stronger women of influence in our communities.  Mothers meet in the sanctuary while children are cared for in the MOPPETS classrooms.

Our Meeting Times

MOPS meets September-May, two Mondays a month. New for the 2008/2009 year. We will be offering TWO MOPS groups. You can choose which group best suits your schedule; Morning (10:00 am) or Evening (7:00 pm). Both groups will offer childcare.

A Typical Meeting

At our meetings, we offer refreshments, fellowship, informative speakers, small-group discussion, crafts and a whole lot of fun!

Our Fee Structure

There is a required non-refundable registration fee of $35 for MOPS International.  This includes a magazine subscription and membership into MOPS International.  Our group also charges $50 per semester to cover program and childcare costs.

Our Childcare

The number of Moms accepted into MOPS is driven by childcare space.  If you require childcare, you will need to register each child attending with you in our MOPPETS program.  Each classroom contains paid childcare workers who provide love and nurture to your child. Some classrooms will also have a structured curriculum.

Outside Activities

Outside of our regular meetings, we also have Mom's Night Out and Mops/Pops socials.
