Daily Devotional
Woodlake UMC encourages all to communicate with God through prayer.
Healthy, vibrant relationships require open communication, and prayer is the language of communicating with God. He invites us to speak to him just as one would talk with a loving parent, bringing him our joys as well as our needs.
A Place to Pray: We encourage you to contact our Congregational Care Team or our Pastoral Staff anytime to make an appointment to speak with them. They are hear to listen and pray with individuals about special needs or circumstances.
Weekend Prayer Experience: After every weekend service, members from the prayer team are available to pray with anyone in need of the comfort and peace found through prayer.
Prayer Requests: God invites us to pray for each other, and there are many at Woodlake UMC who will humbly bring your requests before God. Simply submit your request in the offering plate or bring them to the Altar during service, or submit it online by clicking here.
Classes on Prayer: Prayer is a learned spiritual practice. Even Jesus’ disciples said, “Lord, teach us to pray.” Prayer classes are offered periodically throughout the year as part of Willow Spiritual Practices curriculum. Click here to register for the following class this fall:
