Preschool Hours:

During the school year, the Preschool will be operating daily on a 9:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
schedule and will follow the Chesterfield County Public School calendar.

2010-2011 Preschool Enrollment

Our Preschool closed registration will begin January 11th for all currently enrolled families and church members, and will expire January 21st at 2 p.m. All registrations will be considered timely if turned in by Jan. 21st by 2 p.m. On January 22nd, we will begin our lottery process for placements. On January 26th, the preschool registration will be open to the community. Community registration will be open until February 4th at 2 p.m. On the 5th of February, we will begin our lottery process for placements.

Community Registration

If space is available after closed enrollment, registration will be open to the community. Please consider the following information when making a decision on the enrollment process.

Students must be 3 years old before September 30th to enroll in the 3 year old program.
Students must be 4 years old before September 30th to enroll in the 4 year old program.
The Junior Kindergarten classes are primarily for children who have completed a four year old program and not yet ready for a full day of kindergarten.

Tuesday/Thursday – 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. - $150
Monday, Wednesday, Friday – 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. - $185
Tuesday, Thursday, Friday – 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. - $185

Four Year Old Program:

Monday, Wednesday, Friday – 9:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. - $225

Tuesday, Thursday, Friday – 9:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. - $225

INCLEMENT WEATHER SCHOOL CLOSING POLICY

WUMP will follow the Chesterfield County Public Schools’ (CCPS) decision on school closings. If the CCPS are one-hour delayed, then WUMP will also be delayed one-hour; operating 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m./2:00 p.m. if it should happen to be an extended day. If CCPS have a two-hour delay, then the preschool will operate from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and the children will bring a packed lunch to school. If CCPS have more than a two-hour delay, WUMP will be closed for the day. No refunds will be made due to inclement weather days. There will be no make-up days for inclement weather days.
