CONNECT BAND
Rehearsal Time: Tuesdays,
The Connect Band is comprised of volunteer musicians and vocalists who lead Praise and Worship for Connect—our Saturday evening Contemporary service. We strive to be a church where artists can use their gifts to serve God and help deliver His message through music. Music selections are custom-built to support the theme in each service using both secular and Christian songs from yesterday and today’s music market. If you’d like to join this high energy praise band, especially if you’re a drummer, please contact Darren Raley, Director of Worship, for consideration.
LIFESONG PRAISE BAND
Rehearsal Time: Thursdays,
Starting: September 17th
This new praise band will be accompanying the LIFESONG choir twice a month as they perform for the 9:30 and 11:00 am services. Please contact Darren Raley if you are interested in trying out for this ensemble should you play any instruments (bass guitar, guitar, drums, etc.)
.WOODLAKE ORCHESTRA
NEW Rehearsal: Sundays, 6:00-7:00 pm, Woodlake Sanctuary
If you play an instrument, you need to play it with us! The Woodlake orchestra is growing and improving every year. All you need to do is come to rehearsals held on Sunday nights at 6 pm in the Sanctuary. The only requirement is that you have at least 2 years of experience on your instrument (even if that experience was 30 years ago. No kidding! Several of our current members hadn't played their instruments in 30+ years!). Please join us to praise the Lord with strings and flute (see Psalm 150), or whatever it is that you play!
WOODLAKE RINGERS HANDBELL CHOIR
Rehearsal: Wednesdays, 7:00-8:30 pm, St. Marks UMC
A small group of experienced and new ringers joined together in the fall of 2008 to make a joyful sound unto the Lord using handbells! The choir is currently comprised of 13 ringers, but we are always looking for more ringers to join us, whether you have experience or not - any age! Please contact Candy Dearborn if you have questions or would like to donate to our fundraiser to help us purchase our own set of bells someday! Thank you for your support!
Other Openings
Soloists (vocal or instrumental), facilitators, music librarian, guitarists, bassists, drummers, keyboardists, banjoists, dancers, photographers, artists in any medium.
